BC Christian Academy values the relationship your children have with their grandparents. Over the past 20 years, BCCA celebrates Grandparents Day to honor the special place that grandparents have in the lives of our students and our entire school community.
In light of COVID-19, our Grandparents Day this year will be a Drive-Through Adventure on Friday, May 21st from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. We simply can’t let another year go by without seeing our dear Grandparents and expressing how much we appreciate and miss them--safely, of course.
Our BCCA Drive-Through Adventure will be our COVID-friendly alternative to our traditional in-person Grandparents Day gathering. Grandparents must remain in their vehicles and drive around the BCCA Elementary (Fernwood) campus, to watch various presentations from the students. Mask or face coverings are mandatory if grandparents wish to roll down their windows. We will aim for a contactless experience with specific time slots for cars to arrive to keep the flow of traffic moving. The Drive-Thru experience will be in 15-minute intervals. We can accommodate up to 12 vehicles per time slot. Please see below.
BCCA Parents, please submit your RSVP here as soon as possible with the names of the grandparents and special friends who are attending and the grandchild/ren’s name/s and grade/s.
